After working in dental practices in both Wiltshire and Dorset, Olga relocated to Devon around 10 years ago and has since invested heavily in the practice. She has a gentle approach and she will listen to your smile objectives and concerns before creating a treatment plan that is tailored to your requirements. She will discuss fully with you before starting any treatment.

Olga is particularly interested in Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry and loves to improve smiles, restore teeth and boost patients’ confidence. Her range of skills extends to dental implants, the permanent teeth replacement option for patients with damaged or missing teeth and SmileTRU, a modern teeth straightening option for adults.

Dr Andrew Rochester completed his dental degree at Peninsula Dental School, Plymouth. Since then he has focused on completing further training order that he is able to deliver more advanced dentistry, specifically in the areas of oral surgery, gum disease (periodontology), and dental implants.

Andrew is currently completing a Masters Degree in Periodontology and is able to treat patients with complex periodontal problems. This means he is able provide treatment for advanced gum disease including surgery where required. This includes completing gum grafting for recession and can help improve the appearance of front teeth – this is particularly useful when having crowns or veneers placed on those front teeth. Lastly, he can complete regenerative surgery – replacing bone lost thanks to periodontal disease, with synthetic bone. This can be completed depending on the individual circumstances of each patient.
Dr Rochester comprehensively examines the current health of your gums, and offers treatment solutions that will reduce the chance of experiencing pain or tooth loss.

Andrew has completed implant training with the ‘Campbell Academy,’ one of the leading independent Implant Dental Training Establishments in the UK. In addition to this a Masters Degree in Periodontology incorporates dental implant training and in particular the treatment of patients with dental implants and problems relating to gum disease.

A devoted family man, Andrew and enjoys spending time with his wife, who is a local GP and his two young children. His interests outside the practice include all aspects of outdoor life, from walking on Dartmoor to climbing, surfing and kitesurfing.

Janis Heard

Janis has been working at Gold’s Place Dental for several years. Local to the area, she has almost 20 years’ experience in Dental Nursing following a successful period working in a care home.

As well as her nursing, Janis enjoys welcoming patients when they arrive, always with a big smile. With a passion for helping people, Janis will be able to assist you when booking an appointment and explain the procedures.
